Programs

This 12-week continuing guitar course is designed for adults, families, and youth who have completed the beginner session or already have a basic understanding of guitar fundamentals and are ready to build on their skills. Students will review familiar chords and strumming patterns while learning new chord shapes, smoother transitions, rhythm variations, and additional songs in a relaxed, supportive group setting. The pace remains steady and encouraging, with weekly practice materials to help everyone continue growing between sessions.

Participants should be comfortable with basic chords and simple strumming patterns. Please bring a 6-string acoustic guitar in any condition, and a willingness to keep learning and playing together. Lessons will be taught at the Oakland–Cambridge Presbyterian Church. Children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult. ??
