The StrongBodies Program is based on the StrongWomen Program that was created by Professors Miriam E. Nelson and Rebecca Seguin. It is promoted and supported by UW Extension. StrongBodies will catalyze positive change in people of all ages to live stronger, healthier lives by providing knowledge, inspiration, access to programs, and ongoing support. It has been shown to increase strength, muscle mass and bone density. Classes are held twice a week and include progressive resistance training, balance training, and flexibility exercises.
